CyberSource provides solutions to process online payments, streamline fraud management, and simplify payment security.
Role: Worked with Product Management, Developers and Dev Leads, Project Management, Accessibility Team, and Content Writers.
Product: Verifi—a merchant solution to streamline the dispute process, prevent chargebacks, and protect against fraud.
Product: Authorise.net—a payment gateway service provider for small business.
Project: Consulted with teams on Toonimo branding and implementation, a cloud-based digital walkthrough platform
Product: CyberSource Business Center—a Web-based tool for acquirers, direct merchants and tech partners to manage CyberSource products and services for their merchant portfolio, including onboarding, payment acceptance, hardware management, and security.
Product: CyberSource Universal Management Portal—a Web-based tool for acquirers, direct merchants and tech partners to manage CyberSource products and services for their merchant portfolio—onboarding, payment acceptance, hardware management, and security.
Design Functions: Worked with cross-functional team to understand business requirements and product specifications, then generated schematics and documentation of interface based on existing personas, CyberSource UI patterns, VGAR (Visa Global Accessibility Requirements), and best practices. Created prototypes using Figma, Sketch & Craft. Worked with multiple engineering teams to support implementations. The role also included customer research and user acceptance testing with prototypes.
Contract Interaction Designer – TIBCO through Aquent, Palo Alto, CA. November 2012 to March 2013
TIBCO is a provider of infrastructure software for companies to manage information, decisions, processes and applications.
Role: Intensive interaction with Product Architect and Manager, Visual Designers, and Engineering.
Product: Business Works Manager—an Eclipse-based integration development environment that is used to design, develop, and test ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks applications. The studio provides a workbench in which you can create, manage, and navigate resources in your workspace.
Design Functions: Synthesized requirements from architects, engineers, and PM; developed personas through interviews and research; sketched concepts and evolved designs through schematics and reviews; documented requirements as they were established (no formal requirement documentation was provided by the team). The final UI was based on the Twitter Bootstrap library to be developed with JQuery and AngularJS.

PayPal is an e-commerce business enabling payments and money transfers through the Internet. The RISK and Information Risk Management teams evolve the customer UI and tools to increase user security online, while preserving PayPal revenue through fraud prevention.
Product: Password Strength Checker—iteration and design of new component version for mini layouts
Product: Extended Security Initiative—projects involving multi-factor authentication for features and functions to
improve online security. Required interpretation of FIDO Alliance (Fast IDentity Online) specifications.

BizGenics, Inc., a leading provider of Operational Performance Management applications for sales operations and finance developed.
Role: UID Lead worked with three product managers and eight engineers.
Product: Active Customer Management tool.
Special Project: Designed collaboration tool independent of the application. Gathered requirements and evolved three designs. Tested with engineer-generated prototypes. Following testing oversaw development of final coding and implementation.

International systems integrator and internet consulting company.
Role: UID Lead for multiple projects managed a team of three designers and then a team of seven designers.
Products: Nortel-Clarify ClearQuality. Nortel-Clarify ClearSupport. Working with one other designer we performed contextual enquiery and user intervies with companies using the Nortel-Clarify products. Then, working with a large group of designers I managed the conversion of the client side applications into browser accessed applications.
Special Project: Augmented Learning Team Technical Lead for educational prototypes. Responsibilities included writing of proposal for seven proof-of-concept prototypes, worked with teams of engineers to create prototypes, and presentation of prototypes to management.
Special UX Lead Responsabilities: Authored white paper on Broadband and User Experience.
Lead Functions: Facilitated team/client meetings, with aggressive deadline resource management (1-2 Researchers, 3-8 UX Designers).

Special Project: Brainstormed, iterated, and created new icons for interview scoring visual indicator. Created HTML prototype pages for new tabs and interview score symbols.
